2024 - Road Closure Draycot to Oare C264 Sept 23 for 5 days.
Urgent Closure of: Draycot Fitzpayne West (Part), Oare
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 23rd September 2024, the following length of road shall be
closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Verge Overrun works to
stabilise and improve the roadside verges following years of overunning having taken place. Works will also involve
other highway remedial works where necessary (Patching, sign repairs etc).
Draycot Fitzpayne West (Part) Oare; from its junction with A345 in a westernly direction for approximately 1723
metres.
Alternative route: via A345, Pewsey Road and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 23rd September 2024 and are anticipated to be required for 5 days between the
hours of 07:00 and 17:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
