2022 - Parish Newsletter and Annual Parish Meeting
April sees the arrival of Spring, bluebells, longer days and warmer weather. It also sees the arrival of the Spring Parish Newsletter. Your councillors try to deliver a paper copy to every household but if you missed out click here for the online version.
Dates for your diary the Annual Meetings:
The meetings will be held on Tuesday 17th May at 7.30pm in Oare village hall. We will start with the Annual Parish Meeting, which is a meeting belonging to all electors in the parish, and which starts with receiving a report from the
parish council as to its activities during the previous year, and which ends with the parish council treating its electors to cheese, wine and chocolate cake…. In between, we shall aim to find a consensus as to how the Community Infrastructure Levy monies (CIL) should be spent! Please do put this date in your diary, as it is a great opportunity for electors to meet each other, whether serving on the parish council or not. Electors are welcome to stay on and attend the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council which will be held after the refreshments.
Also remember to contact the Clerk with any issues relating to Highways or Rights of Way so they can be reported to the local authority and/or the landowner.
Happy Easter.
