Cllrs are summoned to a meeting of Wilcot and Huish with Oare Parish Council on Tuesday November 26th 2024, 7pm at Wilcot Village Hall.

This meeting will be to set the budget for the next financial year (2025) and to begin to secure funds for future highways works as requested by residents of Oare along the A345.  It is hoped that a bid to the Highways Substantive Funds will be submitted at he end of this year for funds for the Bus Shelter improvements at Sunnyhill Lane.

Residents are welcome to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. Any representations not to exceed 3 minutes. Matters outside the scope of this particular meeting should be communicated to the Clerk in writing by midday Monday 18th November.

Road Closure Draycot to Oare C264 Sept 23 for 5 days.

Urgent Closure of: Draycot Fitzpayne West (Part), Oare
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 23rd September 2024, the following length of road shall be
closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Verge Overrun works to
stabilise and improve the roadside verges following years of overunning having taken place. Works will also involve
other highway remedial works where necessary (Patching, sign repairs etc).
Draycot Fitzpayne West (Part) Oare; from its junction with A345 in a westernly direction for approximately 1723
metres.
Alternative route: via A345, Pewsey Road and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 23rd September 2024 and are anticipated to be required for 5 days between the
hours of 07:00 and 17:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 10th July 2024, the following length of road shall be closed to all
traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Bobcat patching works.
C264 (Part), Oare; from east of Bacon Copse in an easternly direction for approximately 371 metres..
Alternative route: via C264 (unaffected length), A345, C268 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 10th July 2024 and are anticipated to be required for 8 hours between the hours of
08:00 and 16:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.

Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Closure and suspension of one-way restriction of: Wilcot Road, Pewsey (TTRO xxxx)
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close and suspend the one way
restriction temporarily to all traffic:
Closure: Wilcot Road, Pewsey; from its junction with A345 to its junction with C52.
One-Way restriction: Wilcot Road (Part), Pewsey; from its junction with A345 to its junction with Crown Close.
To enable: Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing, road marking, adjustment of ironworks and
associated works..
Alternative route: via C52, A345 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 15 August 2024 and the closure will be required between 09:00 and
16:00 until 3 September 2024. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending
upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays
are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

metres.
Alternative route: via Hare Street (unaffected length), Woodborough road, Wilcot Road and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 12th July 2024 and are anticipated to be required for 7 hours between the hours of
09:00 and 16:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
