1700 - Giddings Cottage and Zeberdee Cottage

The image below is of Giddings Cottage (R) and Zeberdee Cottage (L) in Huish around 1960. Giddings Cottage is the oldest in the village believed to be built before C 1700 and now Grade II listed. Zeberdee was a later addition, also listed, and was built over the well, now underneath the kitchen floor. It was named for the gentleman who lived there, a Mr Freddie Zeberdee.  The old wash-houses remain at the top of the plot.
